Today is "Emotional Health Day".

Hello Everyone, I hope you all are doing well. While I was going through some boxes I found this folded piece of paper with a poem or what ever you call it and I wanted to share it with you. I think I copied this off of a poster when I was a teenager. That was many years ago and as I look back it amazes me as to the things that mattered to me at that time.....So here ya go... What do we do when we are feeling down?

So, you're feeling down. It has not been one of your better days. You don't really feel like doing much. As a matter of fact, you don't want to do a thing. Well I am here to tell you that this is the time to do something nice for yourself. I know that when I am down I have two choices to make. I can do something destructive or something constructive.....So when I'm having a bad day I do something that will be good for me... So for instance....I might make a healthy smoothie, take some extra vitamins, just go for a walk and/or read a good book. Devotional reading and prayer can do wonders. So when you are having a bad day.....Do something nice for yourself. Signing out and I will see you next time.

Did you know that over 50% of Americans are not getting all the sunshine they need? By not doing so will be a contributing factor to health problems in your future. The sun DOES NOT cause cancer. Lack of sun does. Sunshine is essential for good health and stimulates your body to produce the Vitamin D that it needs. Your homework for the week....."Catch some rays". Minimum 20 minutes a day.
