"Sugar tastes good, but not good for you."

Hope you are all doing well. I am sitting here Ridgecrest, California and it is pouring down rain. I doesn't rain that much here. So I am glad that it is. We need it.
With Halloween having been yesterday I thought it would be appropriate to talk about "Sugar". I'm sure you know as we've all been told that too much is not good for you. We never really understood but knew deep down inside. As for myself I have cut down on sugar bigtime. I have to admit that I had a few pieces of candy last night and I felt like "yuck". That's what happens when we change our diet and take care of ourselves. We don't really notice things, we think it's normal...Then we change our diet, start eating healthier and doing healthier things, (just like what this website is for) and then we start noticing little subtle things. That's how our body works. That's why I am so adamant about doing those little things....They really do matter, even if it's not much...it WILL make a difference....Just stay on the path.

There's this really cool doctor. His name is Dr. Mercola. He knows his stuff and I highly recommend him. I once had a list of all the ill effects of sugar and cannot find it....So on his website he's got an awesome list...So please take a look at it and remember what you are doing to your body when you are consuming anything that has sugar in it. click here

I will be honest with you. I'm not 100% sugar free...I do have a little organic sugar in my coffee in the morning and maybe a little watered down Kool-aid occasionally (I know it 's bad) but that's about it....bare minimum. One day I will switch to stevia...that's another topic...later down the road.
