"An Apple a day keeps the doctor away".

So what's that all about? An apple a day keeps the doctor away?...An old wives tale claiming that an apple a day will keep the doctor away? Well, there is a lot of truth to that. An apple is full of nutrients and enzymes that are so important for good health. As well as 4 grams of fiber and we all need more of that in our diets...don't we. I remember one time I felt like I was starting to come down with a cold, so I started eating apples every day...Well, guess what? That cold could not really get a hold of me and passed in about 3 days. Right now the people at work are sick and have a nasty cold. I'm like...I don't want that cold....so here I am eating apples every day. I buy organic...so say that's $30 a month for apples for one person. That's a pretty cheap insurance policy. Ok, lets get technical...for my whole family to have an apple a day....with many health benefits...say for $90 a month compared to $350...That's a good investment. Remember

"Have you worked out lately?"

Hello and I hope you are all doing well. I hope that this post finds you well and ready for "Thanksgiving" this week. Well, with that being said, you know what they all say about this time of year. How much weight are we supposed to gain this time of year? Is is ten pounds? Well, whatever. Now is a good time of year to get into that exercise program that you know you need to do but don't have the time. Well, I am here to tell you that you do have the time. You just need to make the time for it. Ok, here's the deal. Many years ago I was very disciplined and worked out at a gym and to videos 5 to 7 days a week after I had my son. I had those abs everyone dreamed about and I looked good. Now many years later after having my daughter I'm going to get back into the program. I don't have a lot of time nor at this time do I want to pay for a gym membership. So here's what I do. That video tape I worked out to years ago. Well, I still have it.

"Sugar tastes good, but not good for you."

Hope you are all doing well. I am sitting here Ridgecrest, California and it is pouring down rain. I doesn't rain that much here. So I am glad that it is. We need it. With Halloween having been yesterday I thought it would be appropriate to talk about "Sugar". I'm sure you know as we've all been told that too much is not good for you. We never really understood but knew deep down inside. As for myself I have cut down on sugar bigtime. I have to admit that I had a few pieces of candy last night and I felt like "yuck". That's what happens when we change our diet and take care of ourselves. We don't really notice things, we think it's normal...Then we change our diet, start eating healthier and doing healthier things, (just like what this website is for) and then we start noticing little subtle things. That's how our body works. That's why I am so adamant about doing those little things....They really do matter, even if it

I hope you enjoy.... Kristy I am me In all the world there is no one else exactly like me. Everything that comes out of me is authentically mine because I alone chose it – I own everything about me, my body, my feelings, my mouth, my voice, all my actions, whether they be to others or to myself – I own my fantasies, my dreams, my hopes, my fears – I own all my triumphs and me, I can become intimately acquainted with me – By so doing I can love me and be friendly with me in all of my parts – I know there are aspects about myself that puzzle me, and other that I do not know – But as long as I am friendly
