Now a days we tend to get so busy with life that sometime we forget to take care of our health. The days go by and then one day we notice that something is not right.  It could be a headache, it could be feeling fatigue, it could be an ache or pain.  Our bodies talk to us and we really need to listen....So you say, Why should I take care of my health? I would like you to stop and take a serious look at what you are eating. Take a conscious effort and think about this for a few minutes. How many fruits and veggies are you consuming daily? Try adding more veggies to your diet each day. Every little bit counts. You could add veggies or fruits to your breakfast. Oranges, strawberries, bananas, etc... Why should we eat organic fruits and vegetables?

Have you ever thought about eating organic foods? It's seems expensive, huh? Do you know the difference? Well, I'm here to tell you that the difference between organic and traditionally grown foods may not seem like much, but there is a significance that does not meet the eye. Traditionally grown foods will have pesticides sprayed on them which can absorb into the produce. It could be irradiated. The soil that it is grown in may be nutrient deficient. It could be genetically modified(GMO). Also I have recently learned that the farmers can use sludge to fertilize the soil. Sludge is sewer waste...hmmmmm. Makes you wonder why all those people were getting sick eating veggies. So when you buy organic, you will get nutrient rich, delicious tasting, healthy foods the way God meant for it to be. Hi Kristy here... Hope you are doing well. My bad....I need to really be updating my blog more often... So to follow up on the Apple a day...I've eaten one apple I'd say 75% to 80% of the time since the last time we talked...two months and didn't get sick.. and was ready to post and then....(let me remind you that everyone has been getting sick around me and even the RSV virus going around).... I got all achey that lasted overnight.. then the next day a little achey.... then a little stuffy nose and a small cough, rested on Saturday...I worked all week and felt 90% well...so bottom line is the germ could not get a hold of me...it just flushed on out during the week...An apple a day really does work...something might try to get a hold of you... but it will only try cause there is something special about that apple that will protect your cells....Let me ask you a question? I had those abs everyone dreamed about and I looked good. Now many years later after having my daughter I'm going to get back into the program. What do we do when we are feeling down?

So, you're feeling down. It has not been one of your better days. You don't really feel like doing much. As a matter of fact, you don't want to do a thing. Well I am here to tell you that this is the time to do something nice for yourself. I know that when I am down I have two choices to make. I can do something destructive or something constructive.....So when I'm having a bad day I do something that will be good for me... So for instance....I might make a healthy smoothie, take some extra vitamins, just go for a walk and/or read a good book. Devotional reading and prayer can do wonders. So when you are having a bad day.....Do something nice for yourself. Signing out and I will see you next time.
